Bookshelves

Shortly after I started making furniture I designed a set of solid wood bookshelves for an exhibition, they proved so popular that they became a regular in my workshop. The slender vertical legs reduce the weight and make the bookshelves strong and rigid and the solid wood shelves stay flat even when loaded.

  This method of construction evolved over the years into a variety of bookshelf designs,corner shelves and even small tables. Here I have included some of the variations on this original design.
