From my workshop just above Abbotsbury in Dorset, I design and make contemporary furniture. Working mainly to commission I

aim to create pieces of exceptional quality, distinctive design and unique to you. My designs are intentionally clean, visually uncomplicated and user friendly with finishes that resist the after effects of tea cups or spilled wine.

My love and understanding of wood must have passed down from my father who was a mechanical fitter by trade but would turn his hand to most things, loved to restore antiques and experiment on his home made lathe.

Although I have been making furniture for over thirty years my workshop here is new to Dorset(2016). I am located half a mile or so above Gorwell Farm in The Dairy Buildings with machine room, bench room and a small fairly dust free showroom. Visitors are always welcome although it is always best to ring ahead to ensure I will be there.

Examples of my work can also be seen in Dansel Gallery a privately owned gallery in Abbotsbury selling wooden items from over 200 British craftsmen and women. Well worth a visit if you are in the area!

In addition to Dansel I usually have work in Artifex Gallery in Weeford Road, Sutton Coldfield, also well worth a visit.
